Two brands came together to create the most splendid collaboration seen on the runway. Elena Pavlyukova (founder of Element Jewelry) and Yulia Krokhmal (founder of KROHMALL) joined forces to create a powerful presentation for audiences all around the world to enjoy.
“My story is like the path of a samurai. Alone, choosing not the goal, but the path, while on the way you need the most thoughtful and light clothing,” Yulia said in an interview.
“so my first ring ‘Hope’ was born with a deep meaning for me, which gave rise to my long journey… The brand has combined natural stones— as the embodiment of the pristine world, the beauty of nature (which we often do not notice passing by every day)— and silver as the personification of our world, a little rough, industrial,” Elena said about her brand in an interview.
Though Element Jewelry and KROHMALL seem to be opposites, the two brands created the most seamless collaboration seen on the international stage. The loose, fantastically free flowing garments of KROHMALL are perfectly paired with Element Jewelry’s beautifully bold accessories. Together, the brands create the most dreamy presentation. “The ‘Evolution’ collection was inspired by nature, the unique shapes of stones and fossils that have not been processed… In the world of progress and technology, many do not have time to notice the beauty of the world, nature, and ‘Evolution’ shows that very natural beauty,” Elena said about her jewelry collection.
“’Go To Red’ was inspired by a feeling… This year turned out to be revolutionary all over the world. Once again, my feeling did not overwhelm me. Got into the sensation of the world. Go to red! It is a call to go, go and not be afraid,” Yulia said about her fashion collection.
“Our task was to show how harmoniously wild nature can be combined with modern style. ‘Evolution’ and ‘Go to red’ is a collaboration about courage. In our images you can feel life, ‘real’, bright, passionate, in which there is no word ‘no’ and there is a place for non-standard solutions,” Elena and Yulia said. Their collections certainly came together in harmony. The collaboration between the two brands create another world that audiences can escape into. Founded on the mission to uplift and promote Indonesian artisans, Rumah Rakuji presented audiences with a collection full of expertly crafted fashions. Made by indigenous Indonesian weavers, Rumah Rakuji’s collection offers some of the most authentic cultural fashions. Myra Widiono—the brand’s founder and designer—created Rumah Rakuji to be a shelter for the artisans of Indonesia.
“Rumah means a house; Rumah Rakuji means a tidy house filled with love and energy for sheltering Indonesian Culture, Art, and Craft. Our motto—from indigenous to marvelous— shows how we strive to bring the beautiful culture and tradition of Indonesia to the eyes of the world,” Myra said.
For Rumah Rakuji’s collection, Myra was inspired by the Palu’e Woven. Made by the indigenous people of the Palu’e island, the Palu’e woven contain magnificent motifs and rich colors. To create the collection, Myra combined these themes with organic textiles to create gorgeous, unified garments.
“The inspiration is to promote the authenticity of the woven, the weavers in the village, and the magnificence of Palu’e Island. Palu’e woven, an authentic woven of product indigenous Palu’e Island, live in the area of the magnificent volcanic mountain of Rokatenda. The woven are made by the Palu’e women with authentic Palu’e motifs, used from traditional costume in the tribe’s ritual into a fashionable dress through eco-fashion design development,” Myra said.

“I hope viewers appreciate Palu’e weavers’ relentless effort to produce higher quality products to meet global standards and participate in global eco-fashion drive. Firuza Yakubova’s Spring/Summer 22’ collection is a wonderful assortment of gorgeous designs. Filled with calm colors, fabulous details, and stunning silhouettes, the collection is sure to attract the attention of viewers. The brand’s founder and designer is Firuza Yakubova. She started her brand because she loves to sew and create.
“The history of my brand began a long time ago in childhood when my grandmother taught me how to sew. At first I was taught to sew by hand, but when I was 8 years old, my grandmother taught me how to use an old Singer sewing machine. I have loved to sew ever since. I love creating! I am a lawyer-economist by education, but creativity has drawn me in,” Firuza said in an interview.
Firuza’s creativity shines through her collection. With exquisitely embroidered details, delicately designed prints, and brilliantly crafted fabrics, Firuza’s collection is a rhythm of remarkably sewn fashions.
“This collection was inspired by the song of the British singer Adele ‘Make you feel my love’ as this song calms me down and encourages me to create,” Firuza said. Her designs certainly reflect this calm inspiration. Firuza’s designs flow down the runway with freely flared skirts and embroidered details. Audiences are sure to fall in love with her inspiring collection.
“I would like my collection to convey the message of calmness, good mood, and love. So that, in today's difficult situation in connection with the pandemic in the world, people have peace of mind and confidence in the future,” Firuza said.

As an inventive fashion brand, CholponA combines European and Turkish attire to create a gorgeous new style. The brand utilizes the most elegant design details from the East and mixes them with color pallets and silhouettes from European fashions, creating the perfect blend for the modern market. Cholpon Antheunissens is the founder and designer of the brand. As an innovative creative thinker, Cholpon was inspired to create her brand because of her marriage to her European husband.
“By the nature of his activity, my husband often had to change jobs in different countries, and our whole family traveled with him. It was difficult for our children and me to adapt to new conditions every time, but thanks for this, we all learned to get acquainted with the traditions and culture of each country in which we lived and appreciated it. Apparently, even then I learned to mix traditional attributes of clothing with modern trends. It always looked stylish and unusual, and the children and others liked it very much,” Cholpon said in an interview.
CholponA’s spring/summer 22’ collection was inspired by Cholpon’s encounters with different people and cultures. Cholpon was also inspired by the heritage of her ancestors.
“I created this collection in my homeland, fueled spiritually by the heritage of my ancestors. In this collection, an antique traditional Kyrgyz style is put in display. On top of that, my collection reflects on my internal state where the wish of being bright and strong alternates with the search of comfort and coziness. My woman is different: brave, vivid, sexy and at the same time soft, gentle, loving comfort in clothes, and valuing hand-made labor as well as natural fabrics,” Cholpon said.

Ecoolska’s founder, Olga Skazkina, is amazingly creative and dedicated to taking care of the environment. She was inspired to create her brand while reading the book Planet Full of Plastic to her children. When her children asked questions regarding why plastic ends up in the ocean, she discovered that she didn’t want her profession in fashion to hurt the environment. So, she developed Ecoolska.
“The main goal of our sustainable fashion brand Ecoolska is to make a peaceful revolution in the fashion industry and change its economy from linear to cyclical,” Olga said.
Ecoolska’s new collection, “RETHINK YOUR FUTURE,” showcases the brand’s high potential to meet that goal. During the show, viewers watch the progression of a changing future. First presented is a grim scene, where models struggle to strut down a runway surrounded by garbage. Halfway through the show, however, the scene changes for the better; it becomes clean and bright because humanity has learned to appreciate nature.
“I believe in a great future because people are becoming more conscious and changing their habits from overconsumption to ecological habits,” Olga said.
Olga also said that she was inspired by her mission to encourage others to create and consume sustainably. “We need a technological breakthrough, innovations that do not consume resources,” Olga said. Ecoolska’s digital fashion collection is one of those breakthroughs as it does not require the consumption of materials.
With the collection “RETHINK YOUR FUTURE,” Olga hopes to inspire viewers to develop more sustainable practices. “Hopefully, people will reconsider their old habits and start changing them to more environmentally friendly ones,” she said. A masterfully designed collection, Între/Betweeness combines opposing ideas to create the most intriguing pieces. Cristina’s skillful and thoughtful designs certainly impressed judges, as she won first place in the IDFW Competition.
Cristina’s creative journey is only just beginning. She’s 23 years old and she recently graduated with a MA in Fashion Design from Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts. “At the moment, I am on a creative discovery journey, building my identity through exploring diverse concepts and ideas. As a designer, I would say I approach contemporary fashion in a unique way that appeals to the young demographic. I've developed this vision by first learning who I am, researching where I come from and what my identity truly is, and then combined this with the message I want to tell the world,” Cristina said in an interview.
Her visual message is certainly worth seeing. Cristina’s Între/Betweeness collection showcases her extraordinary talents by combining contradicting elements to create a masterpiece.
Inspired by the concept of clashing tradition and change, Cristina researched her ideas to make an informed decision on the direction she wanted to take with her collection. “After thorough research, both visual and theoretical, I settled on the Theory of Metamodernism by Timotheus Vermeulen, that depicts the idea of a pendulum that oscillates between the past and the future, while the contemporary society remains in between, containing elements from both sides. Între/Betweeness is a hybrid collection that blends the pattern cutting of the Romanian folk costume with utilitarian details of the Eastern European communist uniform,” Cristina said.
Such a concept resulted in a very unique and exquisite collection. With immaculate drapery, eye-catching silhouettes, and fascinating details, Cristina created a truly fabulous collection that captivates the attention of viewers. “Although inspired by history and tradition, the garments transcend into the 'now' and fit within the contemporary society. My goal is to be able to communicate this clash between the past and the future with no words; this is an integral part of my identity as a designer and I feel it represents the present,” Cristina said.

“My brand, George the jeweler, is a trendy yet classic fine jewelry line that is affordable and available to everyone. It is the result of all my experience growing up in the jewelry business and my creativity. My work is worn and loved by celebrities all over the world and I am fortunate enough to be working at the forefront where I have the ability to set trends,” George Khalife, the founder of the brand, said.
George’s trends are certainly worth following. His gorgeous designs can add a touch of fine class to any outfit.
As an exceptionally versatile designer, George creates many custom pieces for clients. “A lot of the pieces in my collection are inspired by my clients. I listen to what they want, consider the current trends, put my twist on it and create,” George said. Clients love the beautiful custom pieces George creates. Inspired by traditional Mongolian Dress, KHATAN has combined modern fashions with traditional Mongolian attire to create the most unique fashion collection to have ever graced the runway. With sleek fabrics, chic silhouettes, and a dash of traditional patterns, KHATAN dazzled viewers with their Spring/Summer 22’ collection. The brand’s founder, Bayarma Balzhinimaeva, created KHATAN to support her daughter’s pursuit in a career in archery. However, KHATAN has done more than provide support to Bayarma’s family; it has also allowed Bayarma to fulfill her dreams.
“As a child I loved to dress up, make doll clothes and always dreamed of becoming a clothing designer,” Bayarma said in an interview. KHATAN also serves to connect the next generation with the traditions of the Mongolian people.
“All 34 khatans (queens) of Mongolian history embodied honour, wisdom, and power. In all their guises, there was not only courage, heroism, but also femininity and selfless motherly love. Collection ‘KHATAN’ combines the historic traditions of ancestors, sophistication and modernity, new colors and fabrics,” Bayarma said.
In combining these ideas, KHATAN creates a gorgeous blend of modern and traditional styles that audiences are sure to fall in love with.
“Wearing ordinary, mass-produced clothes, following world fashion trends makes everyone look monotone. Every woman wants to stand out from the crowd and have a unique thing in her wardrobe; ‘KHATAN’ are the clothes that transform from ordinary to unique, from simple to dashing,” Bayarma said.

“I spent a great part of my life working and designing for different brands until I decided to create my own company, and it is a decision that changed my life forever. To be honest, this was not something that I expected, but I’m so glad about the life that I had. I love making dresses and expressing myself with my creations; it is a way for my soul to express all words that vocabulary cannot explain. I love to think that I'm an artist and I love to see my client's faces when they see my creations,” Viann said in an interview.

“I wanted to demonstrate the ability of women to do whatever we want. I like a short quote that an Argentine musician said, ‘you deserve what you dream of.’ I created this collection because my mom died the last year because of the Covid-19 disease and she always taught me to work hard and to make all my dreams come true,” Viann said.
