GERMAN KABIRSKI’S TAKE ON THE TOP JEWELRY TRENDS OF THE SEASON

German Kabirski Jewelry presents a new collection that fits the most current summer fashion trends in the world of jewelry. The designers stayed true to the brand's distinctive DNA: intricate shapes and rough stones, as well as an emphasis on a unique natural fossil remained unchanged, but changed the presentation and style of the products.

⦁ Baroque pearls
Baroque pearls are natural or cultured pearls that have an irregular, i.e. non-spherical shape. They say that the name of these beautiful minerals comes from the French word "baroque", which means whimsical, extraordinary, pretentious, and in our country it is also known as baroque pearls.

For many years, this type of pearls did not attract customers in any way, since no one wanted to wear beads imperfect in shape. Recently, however, the trend for baroque pearls is gaining momentum. We at GC are great connoisseurs of unusual shapes, so in the new collection you will find a large number of jewelry with this unique pearl.
Items: Driya Baroque Pearl ring, Kean Baroque Pearl ring, Anin Baroque Pearl ring, Adair Baroque Pearl ring, etc.

⦁ Open rings
One of the first examples of this romantic style is the ring, given by Bonaparte to Josephine Beauharnais, with a sapphire and pear-cut diamond. Later, the jewelry fashion opened the hoops of bracelets and necklaces - their ends were also crowned with elements of the same design or asymmetric.

Open rings - one of the hottest trends of the season - looks incredibly elegant and stylish. In the German Kabirski collection you will find a large number of asymmetrical open rings with natural stones.

Items: Kian Citrine ring, Bowe Aquamarine ring, Lani Amethyst ring

⦁ Incrustation
One of the most mesmerizing trends in the world of jewelry is inlay. The mesmerizing interweaving of precious and semi-precious stones into the solidity of rough metal is a beautiful and very impressive sight.
In the design of German Kabirski jewelry, this motif has almost become a part of the House, but the trend is especially clearly demonstrated in summer jewelry: pendants-medallions inlaid with multi-colored stones, rings with an insert in the shape of the brand's symbol - a beetle, and voluminous cuff bracelets in the Greek style.

Items: Evo Spinel Necklace, Bria Ruby bangle, Lith Tourmaline pendant, etc

⦁ Dark metal
Dark metal is an unusual replacement for classic silver and gilding. Jewelry with dark metal began to appear more and more often in the collections of fashion brands. Black rhodium plating is often used by jewelers. This allows you to make a piece of jewelry in a vintage style, or, conversely, to execute it in a modern manner and emphasize the brightness and originality of the precious stones used in the decoration.

In the German Kabirski collection, the dark color of metal is used to emphasize the depth and drama of the decoration: palm branches and leaves in a dark color contrast with the crystal clarity of pink ruby and lilac spinel, emphasizing the fragility of natural stone.

Items: Diar Spinel earrings, Amel Ruby earrings, Kitt Spinel earrings, etc.

BIRTHSTONE BREAKDOWN: YOUR ZODIAC SIGN AND YOUR BIRTHSTONES

For a long time people believed that in the Universe people are connected with the Universe and the stars. And our life directly depends on the location of the stars and planets. Millennia have passed, and we are still looking forward to the next forecasts from eminent astrologers. How to attract positive energy and the benevolence of higher powers with the help of stones and precious metals? Let's plunge into the mystical world of stars and planets. And we will also find out whether it is worth trying to find out your fate by the mood of the sky.

ARIES: DIAMOND, SAPPHIRE, AMETHYST
March 21 - April 19

Active, confident and often stubborn Aries strive for luxury. When choosing jewelry, they give preference to classic pieces with precious stones. Astrologers recommend that Aries wear diamonds. And we are not surprised. Such firmness of character is consonant with indicators of hardness of the most popular stone on the planet. The diamond brings good luck to Aries only when a person directs his powerful energy in a peaceful direction. Otherwise, the power of the stone works against the owner. But no less beautiful crystal pacifies an overly hot temperament and teaches him to control emotional outbursts.

ITEMS: ARUMIS AMETHYST RING, RYK SAPPHIRE NECKLACE, VALDIS BLACK DIAMOND RING

TAURUS: EMERALD, SAPPHIRE, MALACHITE
April 20 - May 20

Jewelry with green stones is suitable for practical, earthy, but infinitely romantic Taurus. Astrologers advise choosing emerald, sapphire, agate, blue topaz, malachite. Since the planet Venus is considered the patroness of Taurus, the most powerful talisman for the May sign is an emerald. This mystical green stone is associated with the goddess of love Venus. It has long been believed that it helps to maintain love and fidelity. Emerald helps to find harmony, wisdom, calmness and clarity of mind.

ITEMS: ERIN EMERALD RING, SEN SAPPHIRE RING, RANA EMERALD BANGLE

GEMINI: pearl, agate, beryl
May 21 - June 20

Contradictory and active Gemini love movement, life, but their tastes often change. Representatives of this sign prefer modest jewelry, but with an original design. Pretentious, pompous and large jewelry is not for Gemini. They would rather prefer a thin gold chain with an unusual, original pendant. Of the precious stones, agate, emerald, pearl and beryl are good for Gemini. Astrologers recommend wearing pearls for this sign. A refined string of pearls or stylish earrings brings love and good luck, attracts light, wealth and joy to life.

ITEMS: ABRAX PEARL RING, SYBEL AGATE NECKLACE, DELLA PEARL EARRINGS

CANCER: ONYX, RUBY, EMERALD, PINK SAPPHIRE
June 21 - July 22

Calm, romantic and extraordinary crayfish most of all value originality in jewelry. They will love the ivory beads! And among the precious stones, crayfish should give preference to onyx, ruby, emerald. Astrologers advise this sign to wear a ruby for the greatest luck. The positive energy of this scarlet stone brings prosperity, well-being and peace of mind to people. A ring with a ruby will help support and multiply vitality, reveal the best qualities in yourself and achieve mutual feelings.

ITEMS: REGIN BLACK ONYX RING, ARIND RUBY RING, KALIFA PINK SAPPHIRE BANGLE

LEO: AMBER, TIGER EYE, PERIDOT
July 23 - August 22

Strong, beautiful and often self-confident Lions and Lionesses choose jewelry that emphasizes the impossibly attractive charisma in full force. Their choice is exclusive products. And dear ones. But who would doubt it. Products with stones of the color of the sun are suitable for Leos: amber, citrine and yellow-green shades of peridot. Amber maintains energy and confidence in one's own splendor. Yes Yes. For Leo, this is vital.

ITEMS: ADDIA AMBER PENDANT, ORGO PERIDOT RING, REIMA PERIDOT RING

VIRGO: SAPPHIRE, JASPER, SERDOLIK
August 23 - September 22

One of the most hardworking, practical and insanely pedantic signs! Virgos choose classic, sophisticated jewelry. And if you have already decided to choose a sapphire as a talisman, let it be something memorable and spectacular. After all, Virgos love the looks of admiration, and sometimes they do not mind being slightly envied.

Do you want to depart from the line of excessive conservatism and categoricality? Take a look at chrysolites. They will add lightness to your life: sometimes Virgos lack the ability to just relax and let go of the situation.

ITEMS: CRESSA SAPPHIRE RING, TARINA SAPPHIRE PENDANT, CARLYN SAPPHIRE RING

LIBRA: OPAL, DIAMOND, BERYL
September 23 - October 22

The duality of Libra dictates the choice of stones with an original color palette. Opal, playing in all shades of the rainbow, is considered one of the best talismans for a sign that strives for harmony, but so often hesitates between the two options. In the second case, diamonds will come in handy. One of the hardest stones will push Libra in the right direction. It will also teach you how to make independent decisions.

ITEMS: CYREN BLACK DIAMOND RING, MEYLN CITRINE AND DIAMOND RING

SCORPIO: TOPAZ, BERYLL, ONYX
October 23 - November 21

Bright and charismatic Scorpios love beautiful things with a special idea! Most astrologers unanimously agree that the stone of this sign is topaz. Ideal if they are yellow or pink minerals. They help Scorpios to be active and attractive to others. Blue topaz gives an easier outlook on life and muffles the categorical character of the sign, which often develops into touchiness. The sky-colored stone endows Scorpio with cheerfulness and the ability to relax.

ITEMS; NIANA BLUE TOPAZ RING, TRYSS BLUE TOPAZ PENDANT, MYTHRANA BLACK ONYX WOODEN RING

SAGITTARIUS: TURQUOISE, SAPPHIRE, TOPAZ
November 22 - December 21

Open, cheerful and fiery Sagittarius always believe in the best. Of course, impulsivity and mood swings sometimes drive a sign into despondency, but the most optimistic sign of the zodiacal circle knows how to quickly pull itself out of this trap. If not, Sagittarius urgently needs a decoration with turquoise or lapis lazuli. It's great if there are a couple of diamonds shining there. In the mood of the subjects of Jupiter, you can take a closer look at blue topaz and juicy yellow citrines. The latter help Sagittarius to remain the soul of the company: restless, funny and humorous.

ITEMS: CADE TURQUOISE RING, TERIS TURQUOISE AND RUBY RING, TARO CITRINE AND WHITE TOPAZ RING

CAPRICORN: GARNET, RUBY, ONYX
December 22 - January 19

Hardworking and decisive Capricorns are demanding of themselves, but sometimes they apply their rules too persistently to the fate of others. To get rid of the insistent desire to interfere in the lives of others, astrologers advise Capricorns to wear jewelry with stones of scarlet color or rich crimson. But opals should be worn when it seems that there is no way out of the situation. These minerals will tell you how to get on a profitable path.
ITEMS: SOCO GARNET RING, KHIVA GARNET RING, BRIA RUBY BANGLE

AQUARIUS: AMETHYST, SAPPHIRE, ROCK CRYSTAL
January 20 - February 18

Free-spirited, unrestrainedly creative and romantic Aquarians are distinguished by their sincerity and friendliness. The only point: sometimes sincerity and openness goes beyond all boundaries and becomes an obsessive manner of communication. Aquarius needs to work on this! Therefore, one cannot do without the help of amethyst. The purple stone helps the sign to concentrate on the main thing and soothes excessive curiosity.

ITEMS: JASI AMETHYST RING, EVON AMETHYST PENDANT, ENGEL AMETHYST RING

PISCES: AQUAMARINE, JASPER, CHRYSOLITE,
February 19 - March 20

Sensual, mysterious and attractive Pisces know that their element is the sea. Hence the advice of astrologers to wear aquamarine: it will strengthen intuition and help maintain balance. About jasper! This is the stone that helps to return to earth when Pisces fly too far in their dreams. Chrysolite of apple shade will give confidence when the representative of the sign doubts his own abilities.

ITEMS: AZRA AQUAMARINE RING, LAIK CHRYSOBERYL RING, TAY AQUAMARINE BANGLE
GERMAN KABIRSKI: INTERVIEW  WITH AN ARTIST

G.Kabirski brand offers jewelry made by an auteur designer German Kabirski. His inspiration stems from the very idea of creating without regard for traditional forms and styles. Kabirski’s “rugged” art throws away the crutches of conventional production methods, it appears from air, clay and sea foam.

Kabirski’s favorite character is a cockroach, a critter that only knows most primitive instincts. This is how Tyler Knox describes it: “A cockroach, an arthropod of the genus Blatella and of the species Germanica, awakens one morning from atypically dreamless sleep. Cockroaches do not think, they either do something or don’t. When the cockroach lies still under the kitchen cupboard, there isn’t a single thought in its head. Cockroaches simply wait for an impulse to act as instincts tell them to.”

Kabirski experiments with materials and forms a lot. He uses exotic wood (african, ebony, mahogany, snakewood), he plays with silver textures. He combines gems with everything, from silver, gold and wood to leather and reptile skeletons. The end result is quite far from traditional jewelry. Kabirski creates small installations with their unique and sometimes wild energy.

Kabirski’s aesthetics exist outside of the traditional concepts of the beautiful and the ugly. Whatever seems hideous today always has a seed of harmony in it, and that harmony may not always be immediately recognized. Kabirski’s art doesn’t try to make you form ideas, it’s merely reflects your own ideas and images. That’s why his work feels so personal.

Key to understand his concept is simple: be yourself. Not living according to someone else’s empty concepts, not getting used to common standards, not becoming another brick in the fashion industry wall. Kabirski’s jewelry is like a distorted mirror, the one true egoists and narcissists cannot take their eyes off.

The sign above the entrance to Hermann Hesse’s Magic Theatre read: Not for everybody. Madmen only. Price of Admission: your mind.
Kabirski’s freak theatre is a frequent guest on various international expositions, and he has a lot of design awards. People who buy his jewelry come from all over the world – Australia, United States, Germany, Poland, Russia, Italy, Spain, Canada, Great Britain, Japan, Thailand. And this list is constantly growing.
INTERVIEW WITH GERMAN KABIRSKI:
German Kabirski – probably the most mysterious jewelry brand not only in Russia but also in the world. German gives no interviews, keeps himself away from the spotlights. He is much more comfortable in a society of precious stones and even a simple pebble (base material of his famous branded pendants) than in a secular society.
– First made piece of the jewelry?
– Honestly, I do not remember, but I think it was something ugly, with a pretension to be called as design.

– German, one of the magazines you have called “esthete marginal,” and it immediately became a cliche. How would you describe your style? The direction in which you work?
 – I find it difficult to define my style. I think that people buying my products could do it better.

– Regarding the “marginal” – as far as I know, the word originated in the US and they “anoint” immigrants which do not adapt to the new social conditions.
– Perhaps they are right in this sense. I have a poorly developed herd instinct. And the word “esthete” lends a certain charm. I like it.

– Who is your customer? How do you represent it visually?
– I do not often communicate with my customers. But from my experience, it is always self-sufficient and thinking people. People living in the search.

– What are your favorite stones?
– I like the stones with so-called “natural defects”, with a variety of internal inclusions. Preference is given to colored tourmalines and sapphires.

– How many new collections a year appears?
– I am not oriented to produce by collections. Products describe my condition and mood in different periods of a year. In the year that is more than 700 models.

– You participated in the largest jewelry show in the United States – JCK Las Vegas. What are your impressions?
– Complicated. For some reason, Americans frighten of a sign “Russia”. Probably they already know that the import of Russian products is extremely difficult. I explained a lot that my products are made in Bangkok and it is radically changed attitude. I have gotten many contacts and proposals.

– Reaction to the brand Kabirski from professionals, colleagues, wholesalers …
– The most basic reaction (and not only at the JCK) is the disbelief that this is a Russian design. In overall I got good reviews

– Who do you think today is the leading trendsetters in the fashion in the jewelry world?
– I liked some US companies from New York and Los Angeles, with their unique brands and style. Germans and Scandinavians in the Design Pavilion amazed me too. I do not follow fashion. A group of people from the world of show business sets the trends in it. Fashion is for everybody,  style – for selective. In the U.S. there is Harry Winston, Tiffany and Co, Jacob & Co и David Yurman. I prefer David Yurman. In the world – it’s more complicated. I would probably choose Stephen Webster, Gilbert Albert  and Roberto Coin from the “young” brands.

– Why does US market attract you?
– The US market is huge and therefore very attractive. Also, the recognition in the United States – it’s recognition in the world.

– Do your wife and daughters wear your products?
-My wife does it with a pleasure. Daughters are generally skeptical about any jewelry, especially to mine.

– Who are the celebrities wearing your jewelry?
– I do not keep track of who of famous people wearing my products. I would like to see them on the extraordinary and even odious personalities.

– German Kabirski – as a man: what does he love, what does not?
– It is a difficult question. I have very complicated relationships with the word love. I try to avoid that word if possible. I think either love or hate equally valuable. Real threat is indifference.

– How much jewelry should have a woman? Or as the Americans say, must have?
- The number and variety depends on a person. As a main issue jewelry has to emphasize woman ego and to carry positive energy. Beauty is made up of details.

MAGICAL PROPERTIES OF THE STONES USED IN GERMAN KABIRSKI JEWELRY

Even in ancient times, our ancestors noticed the unique and unusual properties of natural stone - the most amazing of all elements of the earth. They endowed stones with mysterious healing properties and believed that they have a living energy that helps to fulfill desires, helps solve troubles and protects against evil forces, envy and other negative energies.

Natural stones are truly fascinating. These are pure natural sources of energy for the earth, sun and space. Natural stones are a kind of energy accumulators that accumulate their potential, giving it to their owner at the perfect moment.

In German Kabirski we use only natural stones. Most often they are not subjected to any processing. We believe in the positive aura of stones and when creating jewelry, we try to preserve all their properties, including the magical ones.

Tourmaline
Tourmalines are beneficial for both body and mind. They create a sense of peace and security, awaken creativity, and boost a cheerful mood. Tourmalines are used for concentration during meditation.

Citrine
Esotericists consider citrine as a universal mineral. It seems that the magic of this stone is capable of anything. This is not so far from the truth, because citrine cures diseases, improves immunity, makes a person confident and more sociable well as bringing good luck and inspiration.

Quarz
Quartz is the best conductor for a person striving for development. Transparent quartz crystals emit a healing, white light. It is this light that is the channel of super-frequency energies that contribute to the opening of the subconscious and aid spiritual development. This radiation is organically combined with the elements of our earthly plane, which helps a person to resonate with cosmic consciousness and perceive information from the higher spheres.

Amethyst
The color of amethyst has a hypnotizing effect and helps us to comprehend the secrets of the universe through unexpected discoveries, offered in the flow of purple glow. Amethyst is a stone that strongly influences relationships between people.

Tanzanite
The magical properties of this stone contribute to the development of intuition, holistic thinking, and help open the third eye. Wearing a tanzanite ring attracts money, a necklace promotes career growth, and earrings - happiness in family life. The tanzanite stone has properties to protect love, but not love without marriage.

Garnet
It is believed that this scarlet gem is a symbol of love, well-being in marriage, passion, and violent emotions. It brings its owner attention from the opposite sex, helps find true love and sustain a serious relationship that will end in marriage.

Tsavorite
It is believed that tsavorite relieves fatigue, overstrain, helps get rid of insomnia and depression, stabilizes blood pressure, and improves metabolism. It is recommended to wear jewelry with tsavorite for meteorological people during periods of magnetic storms.
