Rio Carnival Charity Ball 2019 – A phenomenal night to remember!
I have always been somebody with a soft spot for everything charity and so, when I was assigned to cover this event by my Editor in Chief, I immediately jumped on it and did my research into the “Share Me a Dream Australia” foundation which is the organiser for this “Rio Carnival charity ball 2019”.
The commendable work by the “Share Me a Dream Australia” organisation is impressive. Not only are they a non-profit organisation based in Melbourne that has raised more than $30,000 during the past three years to fund various medical, educational, and emergency relief missions in the Philippines, they are also a charity event organiser for the community that incorporates a full night of fun-filled live entertainment, unlimited drinks (YAY), dinner, raffle prizes and of course dancing (Double YAY) at this Charity ball! And that was exactly what I experienced all through the night, last Saturday on the 23 March!!
Upon entry at the Melrose Conference and Reception Centre, I was greeted with such high energy and positive buzz all round! From the ushers, the photographers, the guests of honour and from everyone else, the conference hall was packed to the brim with beautiful people who were dressed to kill, from diverse communities and who were there with a sole minded proposition to make a difference to the lives of the less fortunate.
Digging my face into the full three course dinner provided was a positive experience within itself as the food served was heaven. The unlimited booze throughout the night was a definite treat and the generous raffle prizes to be won were the extra icing on the cake! Even the hosts on stage were extremely entertaining and gave me the laughs all through the night!
And colours! Every colour imaginable under the spectrum of light in our dimension was on full display in the form of outrageous and extremely glamourous feathery costumes put together and donned by every contestant vying for the “RIO Queen 2019“ beauty title which was held as part of this charity ball.
So, who knew that attending this charity ball to raise funds - all in the name of charity to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters in the community, would actually be this fun and rewarding to our soul?
I had so much of a good time at the ball that I did not want to leave! This “Rio Carnival Charity ball 2019” is a spectacular night to remember in a long time to come and I wholeheartedly congratulate the organisers and to the committee of “Share Me a Dream Australia” for delivering and executing such a successful night!
I rate this “Rio Carnival Charity ball 2019” a solid 9.5 out of 10 stars!!
