Composer and musician, Iskender Ozan Toprak brings a unique blend of music in what can best be described as East meets West, in a beautiful combination of modem classical music with traditional Eastern music.
Turkish born musician Iskender is a master of traditional instruments, the baglama, yayli tambur, mizrapli tambur, kabak kemane, balaban, kaval and zurna.
Combining a western chamber orchestra with eastern instruments, Iskender`s music is a varied style including pieces with a more new age classic feel to more of a distinct middle eastern flavor.
Iskender has teamed up with Inventi Ensemble director and Oboe Virtuoso Ben Opie.
Ben`s unique style is instantly recognizable adds a unique flavor to the entire performance.
