We were lucky enough to cover the Melbourne City Lexus new location opening event for VIPs, Media and celebrities on May 30th 2019 at 501 Swanston Street, Melbourne.
What a stunning unforgettable event. We arrived, first on the scene, to capture the preparations as well as the practice solo of Sally Cooper. We took our time to obtain some great snaps before the excited crowd arrived. What a new luxurious home for this amazing company, paying gratitude to their original Japanese heritage. From the decorations, to the invitations. What fascinated me personally:
~ A Vast, brand new, luxurious multi-story space for the new car displays with state-of-the-art touch showrooms, offices and the garage, a Las Vegas hotels would be proud of.
~ The red carpet rush with so many familiar faces, arriving dressed for the occasion, including: the ambassador Shane Crawford, Cristina Tridente (Couture+Love+Madness), Neva Weber (Les Couturières) and Aldo Terlato (Aldo Terlato Couture & GTERLATO), Shiva Singam, Katsushi Horigome (Consul of Japan in Melbourne) , Kazuyoshi Matsunaga ( Consul-General of Japan in Melbourne) , Zian Assaad (Zian Couture) , Jane Azzaro (Azzaro Fashion Designer) , Oscar Calvo, Pierina D'Angelica (Atelier Milano) and so many other sensational names.
~ Japanese flavour entertainment prepared by the hard working marketing team managed by Irina Schneider
~ The gorgeous, talented violinist, Sally Cooper dressed in weightless like a spring waterfall Atelier Milano dress, light and graceful like a feather of the flamingo and the wing of a butterfly who performed for the guests, her breathtaking entertainment program
~ Japanese Taiko drum ensemble Wadaiko Rindo whose performance still reflects in all my chakras with the rhythm of the ancient civilizations we all remembered at once
~ Zen Yosakoi Dancers with their supernatural plasticity and
~ A performance by Melissa Pethybridge from Black Suede band who made the whole audience "Dance with somebody".
~ Junko Azukawa's live painting / calligraphy that we all observed breathlessly as the fish she envisaged in her art. Junko's koi fish she drew has a deep meaning and symbolism: According to traditional Japanese culture: the koi fish has a powerful and energetic life force, demonstrated by its ability to swim against currents and even travel upstream. Some of the characteristics associated with the koi include:
~ Delicious food with variety for any happy gourmet lover.
~ Cocktails that were flowing like a rich river with a full bodied aroma.
~ Couture gowns showcased made by the well known designers blended smartly with the traditional Japanese art displays in secret corners with cherry tree blossoms floating in the distance.
~ A range of luxury vehicles to die for including the new Lexus RCF and Lexus LFA.
~ Amazing Couture Gown Installation by DressedAU and Les Couturiers with Neva Weber the couture partner who brought together Lexus luxury, craftsmanship and design.
~ Melbourne City Lexus ambassadors Shane Crawford and Natalia Kalinowski looked after all the guests to make sure they felt part of the Lexus family.
~ MC Bryan Martin was amazing in his speeches and presentations of the company VIPs.
~ The dealer principal and managing director of Melbourne City Lexus Rod Ayoubi welcoming speech on stage
~ Scott Thomson the CEO of Lexus Australia welcome speech
~ The never stopped snaps from the film makers and photographers as well as from the guests' own mobile phones and cameras.
~ Event finale and amazing DJ music with people hanging around as it was their own home and not wanting to leave the place
We are looking forward to successful sales from the new Lexus showrooms and can not wait for another event invite. Such a pleasure to work with professionals indeed as well as being looked after so well!
