Knafeh Nabulseyeh
by Jennifeer Zaman
This restaurant took us on a beautiful ride to Palestine and teased our taste buds with the most delicious dishes from this wonderland. It started with Middle Eastern Coffee and went on to the mains with falafels to die for, the aroma was so intoxicating that we ended up requesting another plate of it. I won’t shy away from claiming that it was the best falafel I ever tasted. The table was adorned with huge servings of food and it was hard to decide what should we begin with. There was the salad with traditional dressing, wheat cooked with whole chicken and minced beef, rice cooked with chicken and beef again…not to forget the freshly baked bread. Every dish was freshly cooked and filled the room with its tantalising fragrance.
The owner, Musa, was kind enough to bake the popular Palestinian sweet“Knafeh”, which is also suggested in the very name of the restaurant itself. It was a wonderful experience watching him make the vermicelli right in front of us. The warm Knafeh baked with homemade cheese melted in our mouths and left us with a food experience never to be forgotten.
This place is highly recommended for all food lovers and is a must-to-do experience!
