review: Natasha Marchev
Swordcraft event called Autumn Quest 2018 took place ta the Kryal Castle from April 1 to April 8.
It was a spectacular array of events, live action, costumes, horses, role plays, fun games and the battles in the fields. It s all bout the old era, old centuries and fantasy. There are knights in full armor, scary witches, brave soldiers of oldest times, magical fairies, orcs and wizards, mighty vikings and airy elves, there are princes and barbarians, kings, gate guards, and poor civilians from 1600-s and bearded dwarfs. What ever is there in your dreams - you could meet on the unpaved streets of Kryal Kingdom. Were there are fights? Yes, absolutely. Did people fight for real? You have to be sure, they did. The armor was real (well, almost) and it all looked entirely like the episode snap from a good and well scripted movie. The camps surrounded the walls and creeks around Kryal Castle, there were fires and food made under the sky, there were girls in beautiful corsets and dresses and war generals dressed in natural fur. Day after day - all 8 days were like the chapters of most fascinating book you read with each character you meet - like a new page you discovered and left your breath on. The most remarkable chapters and pages , they have bookmarks inside: dry flowers of autumn that will survive until the next year only to be opened again and re-read, re-visited, re-feeled.
I can see a silent question in your eyes: what was it for? Are you serious? You were never a kid or what? Everyone loves games. Everyone likes to dress up. We all like fantasy and adventure books and games. The aim was - to have something for pure fun and relaxation of course.... Oh no!!!!! We were all fighting for gold, fertile land, women and more free time apart from our two-days weekend approved by the Queen of course... No, there was simply a bunch of so many happy people who got together to show who they in that un-real life inside their minds.
It is a great idea to be honest. When I see something like this I wish this idea was mine.
Till the net year I guess or till the next battle should I say ?
