Interview with the model and actress Lorynn York
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Lorynn York excelled in the Arts at a young age. Lorynn trained as a ballerina at the prestigious School of American Ballet in NYC and at the Chautauqua Institute in New York. She performed on the professional stage under the direction of Victoria Morgan at the Cincinnati Ballet as a young girl.
Lorynn started her acting career during high school with a small role on The TV Movie Shelter. Now represented by Osbrink Talent, she has had small roles in the Movie Rosemont, directed by Daniel Petrie Jr,, Whitney, directed by Angela Bassett and co-star roles on the television shows The Neighbors and Anatomy of Violence, Lifetime Networks Babysitter's Black Book, directed by Lee Friedlander, Lifetime's The Perfect Daughter, directed by Brian Herzlinger, Lifetime's The Broken Promise, directed by Nadeem Soumah, She also has a National Commercial and billboard.
Lorynn will also appear in the Syfy movie 2 Lava 2 Lantula! summer 2016. She is an exciting one to watch with great things in her future!

MD: Hi Lorynn, how are you today? Looks like you've been busy lately, tell us about your upcoming projects?
LY: I have Broken Promise coming out May 22nd on lifetime, 2 Lava 2 Lantula coming out in July on Syfy, The Repairman is another Syfy movie coming out this year, and my last is Flight 192 coming out somewhere, sometime this year

MD: When can we see them?
LY: May 22nd - Broken Promise on LMN (it's called "Nightmare from the Past" outside of the US) 2 Lava 2 Lantula will come out in July on Syfy, and the rest have dates pending!

MD: What's next for you?
LY: I have been auditioning for some amazing projects! I also just signed on with Primary Wave Ent. So that's pretty exciting.

MD: What's been the most exciting part of your emergence thus far?
LY: Working alongside Steve Gutenberg was really awesome. My family and I were always big fans of his.
