Today we will introduce you to Paul Margocsy, a famous Australian artist well known for his beautiful birds and animals paintings not only in Australia but overseas. We discovered Paul's works two years ago through one of the galleries and decided to call him straight away. PM: No I had no formal art school training.

Q4. I know that the real artist get inspired from anything he/she sees/experience: nature, other people creations and your own feelings. What inspires you the most?
PM: The nature of birds and animals and especially after visiting Africa.
Q5. What type of technique do you use?
PM: I use watercolour, gouache and airbrush.
Q6. What is your favourite art accessory if any?
PM: I love using airbrush for backgrounds.

Q7. Your paintings are very finely done with attention to small details. One can see feathers that are pictured with such a precise manner they cannot be distinguished from real, How long does it take for you to finish one piece of work of average size?
PM: All paintings vary depending on the subject. A small painting can take 3 days and a large one 10.
Q8. How would you describe your workshop or the place where you usually create your art in a couple of words?
PM: My studio is special to me and I listen to my kind of music and enjoy painting.
Q9. Do you find it challenging to find time you have to divide between for your work and your family?
PM: No, as I am a full time artist and work from home it has never been a problem.

PM: Probably being selected 2 years in a row to represent Australia in the best wildlife exhibition in the world in America.
