Ravishing Fashionista Fashion SHOW took place on March 30 at the SOFITEL Hotel - Brisbane CBD and was created, managed and organised by Upma Kite and her creative team: Meetali Chauhan, Tanu Jayaswal , Ana Kapoor and Milagros Isabel Wetten. Liz Murrihy, Ambassador Ravishing Fashionista Fashion SHOW assisted the crew at each step. Upma, the super mind behind the show was the key to the success of the entire event. Tanu was responsible for the media releases. Damien covered the story of the event. The event was featured in Indian News Queensland with Ram Mohan ji who supported in covering Ravishing Fashionistas Fashion Show for Ageless Divas.
It was the event where each photo click had its moment and each event moment had its own story. Glorious indeed. Knowing how hard it is to start up, set, organise and run the show of such a caliber we congratulate the entire team on its successful outcome.
The photography we present here cover only some glimpses of the event and we highly recommend to everyone, even if you live in a different Australian state to come again next year to support the cause and these enthusiastic people.

Upma Fashionista and her team organised a stunning Fashion Show Event “Ravishing Fashionistas Fashion Show for Ageless Divas”
This was a fundraising event supporting UNITED NATIONS WOMEN NATIONAL COMMITTEE AUSTRALIA and DIGNIFYING WOMENS .
The concept creator for this first time Fashion Show Event, Upma Kite, currently holds the exclusive title of Mrs Australia Universal 2019. Upma has significant experience in managing fashion and community events, is an International published / runway model and successfully delivered many events in the past .
Ravishing Fashionista For Ageless Divas highlighted the positive body image and self worth amongst all ages and sizes of women on the runway. On higher scale models are portrayed as thin and young. However the organisation believes that each woman is an individual with confidence to walk the runway, age and sizes are just numbers.
This show included the following program:
1. Fashion Show showcasing Australian and International Fashion Labels and Jewellery.
2, Entertainment: Award ceremony for “Discover Yourself : Woman Achiever 2019”

Upma Kite, the visionary behind the RAVISHING FASHIONISTA FASHION SHOW FOR AGELESS DIVAS 2019, put a spectacular show in front of over 200 guests. Upma is the current Mrs. Australia Universal 2019 who needs no introduction. Her own accomplishments of challenging the fashion industry by becoming a 30 plus aged model who became a well-known fashion icon of Brisbane, national and international published model in a short span of time.
Breaking stereotypes is never easy. So was faced during Ravishing Fashionistas Fashion Show for Ageless Divas. One of the challenges was the untouched and unexplored part of fashion industry is inclusion of all nationalities, sizes and shapes. Fashion class have always seen plus size models or high end fashion show however combo of both is rarely seen.
The other challenge was to train the new models who participated on the runway of ‘not less than a high end fashion show’ Ravishing Fashionistas. They were trained by one on one and group sessions along with videos shared on groups (great use of technology).
Upma and her team headed the SOLD OUT event, team comprised of Tanu Jayaswal, Media and Strategic Manager, Anamika Kapoor-Event and Décor Coordinator, Sabrina Missilele-Admin Head, Smreen Ahluwalia-Admin, Lyndsey Moody and Jan Williams- Backstage Coordinator, Michelle Espinoza, Front of house coordinator.

Event's Ambassador gorgeous Liz Murrihy presented the award of Discover Yourself: Women Achiever Award 2019 to Lisa Cox for breaking the stereotypes of life in general. Stunning Bec Mcmillan hosted the show with her charming personality.
Upma wants to mentor and guide women not only in fashion industry but also those who own small businesses and need further assistance. She wishes to carry her legacy and spread the word to come and join the movement.
We can't wait to see what's stored in future for Team Fashionista. Congratulations Upma and the team.
