The Annual Helpmann Awards 2019 Bryanna Reynolds The Annual Helpmann Awards were at the Arts Centre in Melbourne, Victoria for the first time. On arrival to the venue, guest’s were greeted by the most amazing red carpet I have ever seen. It was the entertainment industry’s night of nights and it was full of plenty of glitz and glam. Before the performance and awards were announced celebrities walked the red carpet and I had the opportunity to chat to some of the industry’s most talented performers, singers, dancers and actors from across the live performance scene. Once the stars walked the red carpet, we were all treated to some acts inside the theatre. The Helpmann awards were handed out and there was so much joy and happiness in the room. What a star studded and beautiful collection of people. Once the awards had concluded it was onto the after party. Not even the rain could hold back the gorgeous flock of people as we boarded busses to the Sofitel Hotel. On arrival to the red carpet we were greeted by drinks and canapes. There was also a chance for people to get some pictures together. Then it was time to mingle and enjoy the beautiful band playing for the remainder of the evening.
