INTERVIEW WITH BONNI LYTHGOE, A PRODUCER OF PETER PAN
Interview with Bonnie Lythgoe, the Producer of Peter Pan ahead of THE ADVENTURES OF PETER PAN & TINKER BELL
RETURN TO PANTOLAND running in Australia this winter 23 JUNE - 30 JULY 2017
press release by: Emmylou MacCarthy (presenter, journalist)
and Fabrizio Evans at Group 42 (cameras and editing)
Energetic, kind and so passionate about bringing families together Bonnie Lythgoe’s enthusiasm is as everlasting as her career!
Her experience and trained eye that can spot talent and charisma along with her unwavering patience will see her stay at a casting till every last artist has had their chance to audition on stage.
It is clear to see why she has had such huge success single handedly resurrecting Pantomime within the Australian Musical Theatre.
Bonnie believes in creating a show for all ages; from 3 to 103. Patrons can come and join in with the fun and interactive culture that the Lythgoe Family Productions has become renown for.
Interviewing Bonnie was incredibly interesting, so much so my camera man, Fab had to give me light telling off for tilting my head and scrunching my nose, a habit I have when I am listening so intently.
I like to think it was her her funny tales of being on set with Sean Connery, and Sydney Portier and not my lack of experience that I forgot I was on camera leaving me to lapse into my little scrunched nose, head tilted thingy!
On that note I am going to leave you to sit back and enjoy the beautiful spark and colourful life that is Bonnie Lythgoe
