INTERVIEW WITH NEALE DONALD WALSCH
Are you seeking clarity amongst the noise of a confusing world? Are you investigating the antidote to ever-present anxieties? Are you ready to be empowered, challenged and transformed?
A session with US-based spiritual teacher Neale Donald Walsh will empower you with the profound, yet simple realisation that we are all God, creators of our own reality.
The non-religious spiritual messenger is the author of the inspirational Conversations with God series, which has spent more than 135 weeks in the New York Times Best Seller List, and has been translated into 37 languages.
Walsch is adored by high-profile personalities including singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette. The Grammy Award-winner named him her spiritual mentor when trying to reconcile her feelings of anxiety, insecurity and depression, even at the height of her fame. In 2016, Walsch was named one of Watkins Mind Body Spirit magazine’s Top 100 spiritual teachers alongside the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Eckhart Tolle and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. He has also made a guest appearance on the series phenomenon, The Secret.
Now is your chance to become a part of Walsch’s conversation. A conversation that is reverberating around the world.
press release by Bryanna Reynolds

In Conversation with Author: Neale Donald Walsch.
http://www.nealedonaldwalsch.com/

Bryanna Reynolds had a conversation with Neale himself, talking about his successes’ with his series of books ‘Conversations With God’ and his upcoming lecture in Australia.

B: How do you explain to people what it is that you do?
N: I tell them I write books, I write metaphysical books and then I go around the world and I share the messages that are contained in the books. I also tell people, that all people are having conversations with god all the time the only difference is, that I wrote down and took careful notes about the experiences that I was having with him.

B: For people attending your Australian Tour what do you hope they will learn and take away from your presentation?
N: I don’t have an idea that people are going to leave my program in some enlightenment. It takes more than an hour and a half lecture. I don’t hold the illusion that someone is going to be enlightened. What I do hope, is that they’ll leave the room with an idea of some specific things that they could do to change the certain behaviours that all human beings exhibit and that by changing those behaviours, they would both improve their lives and help to awaken the species.

B: What is one of the most heart-warming things to come out of the work that you do? After your successes with the books and radio gigs has there been a moment that has stuck with you?
N: I think the most striking moment was when a lady approached me after a lecture and said something really quite simple. It was one sentence, it allowed me to see the impact, of what I was doing in the world. She said "thank you" for introducing me to a god I can fall in love with. That put my work in one sentence for me, because that’s what I hope to do, I hope to introduce people to a god they can fall in love with and not a god they have to be afraid of or live in fear of.
B: When life had you down and you started to question things, did you ever question where god was and why he wasn’t helping you?
N: Not since I’ve had my conversations with god experience, prior to that, of course my whole life was about that. My whole life was constantly asking that question, but not since I had my conversation with god. I’ve been living inside a reality in which god feels always present in my life, I feel that life is on my side, I feel that life works out for me, even when its not producing the outcomes I most desire. So I see life in an entirely different way now I don’t require certain things to occur, but rather I just see everything that’s occurring as being perfect just the way that its occurring.

B: What do you say to anyone who might be sceptical?
N: Simply decide whether you want to try it out, whether you want to see if any of it makes sense by applying it in your life and if it doesn’t make sense by applying it to your life, throw it away. On the other hand if some or all of the messages make sense in your life and seem to make your life better for it, then embrace the messages and use them to the degree benefit to you. I have no need to convince anyone of anything. In fact I say at any one of my lectures, in every one of my books, I could be wrong about all of this. So don’t believe a word I have to say, but if you have a curiosity about life and how it could be improved, maybe try out 2 or 3 of the messages and if they work for you, there you are.

B: In this day and age with modern technology how do you find being able to connect with people so readily when they are in need of guidance? i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram?
N: I have devoted my life to sharing the messages of the conversations with god as fast as I can so anything that makes it possible for me to do that is important to me. So the internet and social networking that’s possible on the internet and all the other ways we reach out to each other electronically these days, those are wonderful tools, those are very important tools because the purpose of my life is to share this messages as rapidly with as many people as possible.

JEANETTE RUSSELL'S IMPRESSIONS FROM THE SKYPE WITH NEALE:

Neale Donald Walsch had some very interesting views about unrest globally, as well as war struggle and failed systems. From his perspective we need to analyze  our responses to world wide issues like those already mentioned and include an awareness of famine, poverty and injustice. What he maintained is that we need peace, togetherness, and to believe in some higher power ( eg god ) or whatever it is for the individual. Some curious and thought provoking,  even disturbing insights were laid out. I would be really keen to hear  Neale speak again. Thank you for the opportunity to tune in.

[editor's note: we also hope that Neale will be in Australia soon to listen to him live]

NEALE'S QUOTES YOU WILL WANT TO REMEMBER
"The first thing to understand about the universe is that no condition is "good" or "bad". It just is. So stop making value judgments. The second thing to know is that all conditions are temporary. Nothing stays the same, nothing remains static. Which way a thing changes depends on you",
"Emotion is the power which attracts. That which you fear strongly, you will experience...Fear will draw it to you like a magnet",
"God is in the sadness and the laughter, in the bitter and the sweet. There is a divine purpose behind everything—and therefore a divine presence in everything",
"You are a three-fold being. You consist of body, mind, and spirit",
"Your soul is the sum-total of every feeling you've ever had",
"All your life you think you are your body. Some of the time you think you are your mind. It is at the time of your death that you find out Who You Really Are",\
"To live your life without expectations—without the need for specific results—that is freedom",
"Beingness is the highest state of existence",
"What's happening is merely what's happening. How you feel about it is another matter",
"...the purpose of relationships is not to have another who might complete you; but to have another with whom you might share your completeness",
"You can tell you are on your way to mastery when you see the gap closing between Willing and Experiencing",
"God is everywhere. Therefore, God is nowhere in particular, because to be somewhere in particular, God would have to not be somewhere else--which is not possible for God",
"You are teaching your children what to think instead of how to think",
"You teach what you choose to learn",
"Truth is truth, and it can neither be proven nor disproven. It simply is",
"Only when you require no approval from outside yourself can you own yourself",
"Enlightenment begins with acceptance, without judgment of "what is",
"Silence... is the song of the soul",
"...your mind holds the past, your body holds the present, your soul holds the future",
"...the larger your understanding of Who You Really Are, the smaller your ego",
etc... enjoy your reading - there are more revelations inside Neale's books...
