Lands Of Imagination - Sand Sculpting Australia

Lands Of Imagination is a spectacular exhibit held at the Frankston Foreshore.
This was my first visit to sand sculptures, and not quite what I expected!
Having visions of sandcastles like we made as kids… I was totally amazed at the size and detail of these fabulous life size sculptures.
The Sculptures are made entirely of sand, taking 20 Sculptors over 5000 hours to create.
The display includes Alice in Wonderland, Pirates, Dragons & Dinosaurs; there are also multiple workshops for kids and, the feature piece an amazing 8.5 meter castle which has to be seen to believe.
As you wander around the display, have a look at the intricate detail that has gone in to every piece. It is like a journey into the fairytale of enormous size.
There is an activity center for the kids where they can create their own colored sand bottles and make sand art paintings.
There is a face painting place where your kids can be anything or anyone they like - the heros from the fairytales. It is one incredible children’s entertainment that is also loved by adults.
Lands Of Imagination is defiantly worth a visit to see these astonishing works of art.
